James "Cayden" Crow is a 2025 C/RHP/IF/OF with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Friendswood. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.85 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher who played all over the field on defense. Has good young lower half life and actions that help him at all positions, moves well to the ball in the infield and outfield and comes out of his crouch quickly behind the plate, arm works well with developing arm strength and good projection, could end up at any position in the future depending on his physical and skill development. Right handed hitter, hits from a high land load with a level line drive swing plane, still gaining strength in his swing but has a good fundamentals base to grow from. Also pitched, compact arm action with an on-line delivery. Worked mostly with a fastball up to 68 mph with some tailing action, also threw a change up with some feel for the strike zone. Excellent student.
