Lucas Iorgulescu is a 2021 MIF/3B, OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Marina. Medium frame with a lean build showing fast twitch muscle throughout the frame. Ran a 7.03 second sixty yard dash. Primary Middle Infielder, proving to have lateral range as he flashed a quick first step while rounding the baseball smoothly. Gathers out front before working quickly into transfers. Accurate arm from multiple slots as he threw it 82 mph during drills. Instincts showing and projects here going forward. Secondary Outfielder, working into the baseball under control as he carries weight well into the gather. Scoops it up and then released with a shorter arm action while proving he can keep throws down with carry. Threw it 85 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced with high hands behind the ear. Loads up and creates separation as he strides out landing in a good hitting position. Fires the hips and hands as he creates whip to the barrel through the zone. Impacted the baseball out front with authority and drove it deep into both gaps. Mechanically sound swing as he found barrels with every cut. Good Student. Named to California Workout Camp Top Prospect List.
