Charlie Nicksic is a 2027 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-0 172 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Cinco Ranch. Big young body that should firm up well as he matures. Has a slow paced and under control delivery with a small leg tuck over the rubber, high 3/4's on line clean arm action, creates some downhill angle to the plate. Threw almost all fastballs and filled up the strike zone with it, topped out at 72 mph. Dropped in one curveball for a strike and picked up a K on a nice change up. 27 pitches and 68% strikes in 3 innings of work. 8.64 runner in the sixty. Worked out in the infield and at first base on defense. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and narrow stance with a simple swing approach, mostly pull side contact. Intriguing ability to throw strikes and some potential to mix his pitches.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
