Evan Harbort is a 2028 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Cambridge, WI who attends Cambridge. Medium, compact frame with plenty of time and room to physically mature. Recorded a 8.36 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary third baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Displayed deliberate footwork into the fielding process with a clean funnel out in-front and the ability to change arm angles when necessary. Produced accurate throws up to 73 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with belt high leg lift and medium stride length out to foot strike. Deceptive cross-body landing creates some arm-side life to his fastball, worked steadily in the low-to-mid 70s throughout his outing and topped out at 75 mph from an extended, high three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in slurve shaped slider with vertical depth to it and some bite. Strike thrower with developing command, will continue to improve with additional velocity and refinements to his repertoire. Took part in the first baseman portion of the defensive workout as well, where he showed deliberate footwork around the back, fairly accurate throws up to 66 mph during drills and a slightly deeper funnel. Right-handed hitter that hits from a a wider, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and negative toe-tap trigger. Middle-of-the field approach with developing feel for the barrel, displayed some strength in his hands and creates some backspin when on-time and in-sync. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
