Peyton Poker is a 2026 C/RHP, UT with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Baraboo, WI who attends Baraboo. Smaller build. Behind the plate, the operation on the throw downs is a bit longer due to the arm stroke and belt high exchange but shows promise with accurate throws to around the bag. Lots of time to clean things up and add twitch to the lower half. At the plate, he sets up with narrow base working into a lengthy stride. Signs shown of really barrel skills to square up line drives through the middle and with added strength could be a pretty dynamic hitter. On the mound, he works with hybrid style windup. The lift is small with immediate positive movement. The arm stroke is with long take back and low three quarters release point. Fastball plays true and was commanded well to both sides of the dish. Slider is short breaking frisbee type from the low slot. Not an overly sharp breaker but effective to both sides both in and around the zone. Started yanking it glove side as the outing progressed. 7.72 60-yard. Outstanding student.
