Grayson Wise is a 2024 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Woodrow Wilson. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, spread bent knee closed stance to start his swing, limited lower half shift and is locked into his back side, has some hand quickness and a short line drive swing, high contact approach that is consistent and simple. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Shows good arm strength in the infield and has some carry to his throws, keeps his body under control and balanced, has good projection on defense as he gets stronger. Also played the outfield. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a simple leg raise delivery, lands closed out front, compact high 3/4's arm action that hides the ball well. Mid-70's fastball, worked down in the zone consistently, also threw a short curveball. Very good student.
