Ben Nutwell is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, UT with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Langham Creek. Recorded a 7.10 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and athletic build. Moves low to the ground with range to both sides and funnel out front with good hands. Deliberate release with short arm slot on throws across the diamond at 72 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher working from the center of the slab with a low-belt lift. Lands slightly closed down the slope with a short arm high-slot delivery. Repeats his delivery with fastball command of the strike zone up to 73 mph. Moves the ball to all four quadrants of the zone challenging hitters. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and low-hands setup in the box. Knee-lift trigger with hands separating into slot and rotational bat path through the zone. Pull side strength with impact out front. Excellent student.
