2022 Rocky Mountain Workout Showcase
Mason Grube is a 2024 C/RHP/IF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Aurora, CO who attends Cherokee Trail. Medium size athletic frame. Ran a 7.23 60-yard dash. A versatile catcher/infielder that showed footwork behind the plate with a clean transfer, and average arm strength with accuracy to bases. Footwork to the baseball in the infield, moved efficient laterally, softer hands working through the baseball and above average arm strength on throws across. Hit from a slightly open stance with leg kick timing. Some moving parts in the swing, hand hitch and a longer level path through the zone with a combination of strength and hand speed in the swing. When on time puts quality swings on the baseball with some pop. Will get to the pop as he develops more barrel control. Named to Rocky Mountain Workout Top Prospect List. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
