Alec Wentrcek is a 2026 C/RHP, OF with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Grand Oaks. Recorded a 7.03 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a medium frame and athletic build. High stance with a staggered feet base on throws. Works under the ball replacing the feet and some arm strength on throws at 76 mph. Athleticism and footwork behind the plate transferred to the outfield with a clean gather to exchange on throws to the bases at 80 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a high belt lift working from the stretch starting point. Medium arm swing to a 3/4 arm slot delivery using his strong lower-half to get down the slope. Ran the fastball up to 78 mph (2012 RPM) and curveball in the high-50s (1891 RPM). Attacked the strike zone to both sides with fastball heavy arsenal. Right-handed hitter with an even base open stance and high hands setup in the box. Knee-lift trigger stride to square with bat speed and loft out front to the pull side. Excellent student.
