Brayden McDaniel is a 2026 SS/RHP, C, MIF, OF with a 5-5 135 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Cy-Fair. Recorded a 7.57 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a young frame and developing build. Solid footwork moving around the infield working around the ball with a clean funnel. Quick release on throws across the diamond at 77 mph. Athleticism transfers to the outfield working through the ball with a hand gather to exchange. Inline momentum carrying his weight on throws to the bases at 83 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a loose arm and inline direction down the slope. Controls the strike zone and repeats his delivery with fastball up to 78 mph (2066 RPM) and slider with really good spin at 71 mph (2423 RPM). Switch-hitter with a narrow base and slightly open stance from the left side. Some rhythm in the box from the left side with feel for the barrel. More upright posture from the right side letting the ball travel with impact to the opposite field. Young athlete with solid actions and future impact as he matures into frame. Excellent student.
