2023 WWBA Workout Showcase (Fri)
Mason Jones is a 2026 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Yulee, FL who attends Yulee High School. Taller, athletic and strong build for the age with proportional lean strength in both halves at present. Runs a 6.77 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, the strength is evident right away, looks the part, good fundamentals, one hand gather to side working through it well with energy and bounce, throws coming through at 89-mph, low and online, proper technique and feel for the spot. Right-handed hitter, wide base with high hands, heel lift trigger, middle of the field impact when extended, hands stay stationary after initial trigger, less rhythm and fluidity to the overall process right now, linear path and short swing, some bat speed is present. Athletic prospect with promise in the outfield grass and ability to control the stick. Outstanding student. Currently holds a commitment to Virginia Tech. Named to 2023 WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
