Maxwell Starzec is a 2027 RHP/2B with a 5-8 154 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Logos Prep. Medium young build. Works from the stretch with drop and drive mechanics and an over the top arm action, front side tends to open early coming through. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, mostly straight with occasional cutting action. Also threw a soft curveball that he landed well for strikes with a 12/6 shape. 8.39 runner in the sixty. Worked out in the infield on defense. Right handed hitter, has a big leg raise load and a solid shift to the front side, rotates his upper half well, swings hard with an uphill swing plane, looking to lift the ball. Very good student.
