Lucas Strawn is a 2028 RHP/3B, OF with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Summer Creek. Compact, wiry build with good length to fill out. Ran a 7.96 in the sixty. Right-handed pitcher, works from standard three-quarter slot with some downhill intent to his finish. Good feel with command to the fastball. Big breaking ball with 11-5 shape and quality depth. Lots to like for age. Also showed well in outfield and infield drills. Longer arm action carries momentum to bag. Good intent in his path, has the fundamentals on the dirt or grass. Softer hands funnel well. Right-handed hitter, open stance and pigeon toed set. Active parts to load, worked up the middle. Some quickness in the hands. Named to Top Prospect list.
