James Tillinghast is a 2025 3B/2B with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Warwick, RI who attends Bishop Hendricken. Medium, compact frame with some strength throughout and plenty of room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.45 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork into the fielding process, a clean funnel out in-front and some lateral range to either side. Displayed accurate throws with some carry up to 75 mph during drills from a higher arm slot. Will continue to improve with refinements mechanically and additional strength. Left-handed hitter that hits from an even, well-balanced stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics and uncoils well to create torque and some quickness with his hands. Short, direct swing path with some impact to the middle and pullside of the field. Will continue to improve with minor swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
