Cooper Maher is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Westerly, RI who attends Bishop Hendricken. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength with additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.23 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well to thee ball and athleticism plays in actions, softness to glove skills out front at the ball and play well, big arm strength and carry across the diamond with accuracy on throws. Also pitched, full windup on the mound with a controlled and balanced operation, athleticism allows for variance to tempo to disrupt hitter's timing; works down in the zone well form a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, solid arm speed through the back and ball jumps out of hand, projects for more velocity and shows a breaking ball up to 69 mph with tilting life which plays well off of fastball. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even and balanced set up in the box; longer swing path through the zone, occasionally gets onto front side early with weight shift but shows strength in hands. Works to all fields with intent and shows line drive contact with jump off of the barrel to gaps, consistent barrel skills. Very good student. Named to Northeast Academic Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
