2022 High School All State Select Championship (2023-2024 Grads)
Ayden Pearcy is a 2024 C/3B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Friendswood High School. Medium frame with an athletic build, good room to add physically. Ran a 7.29 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, clean and efficient transfers with solid arm strength, moves into his release well and gains ground, good in-game receiver and manages the game well, higher baseball IQ behind the dish, good to pitch to. Right-handed hitter, even base and stays in the lower half well, clean compact path through the zone, works the barrel out on time and showed some inconsistencies at this event but has been comfortable finding the barrel at a consistent rate prior, generates good leverage and is able to impact the ball in the air to the pull side well. Great student.
