Matthew Dayle is a 2024 2B/SS with a 5-4 110 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Cardinal Hayes. Shorter and wiry frame with an athletic future look to the body. The infielder has balanced foot work, taking longer strides to gain ground to both sides of the field. Consistent transfer and release and accurate to the bag. A switch hitter, he closes off a bit righthanded with a short stroke and inside path. Left-handed, he looks to get the barrel out and pull the ball from a slightly open stance. The path has a little more future lift from the left side. The package will develop nicely as he matures.
