Connor Jones is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Concordia Lutheran. Tall and athletic look to him, good physical projection remaining to the frame. Works from a full delivery, starts squared up with the plate, hands set at the belt, hands raise up to the chest with the leg lift. Front foot lands slightly closed, hides the ball well with the crossfire delivery. Arm gets late at times causing him to lose the zone. Fastball has been sitting in the mid-80s (2271 RPM) with cutting action, as been up to 89 mph at past PG events. The curveball has slurvy shape in the mid-70s (2527 RPM) and has flashed the ability to land it in the zone. Has also flashed a changeup with fading action in the low-80s (1596 RPM). Plays first base when not on the mound and also worked out both in the infield and outfield during drills. Right handed hitter, gets his hips coiled well, has a full swing path with some strength and lift at contact, has some projection as a hitter. Excellent hitter.
