Jacob Collins is a 2028 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends Wesley Chapel. Medium, slender build with more strength to come. Ran a 7.81 sixty yard dash. Catcher, worked from a shorter arm action with developing arm strength and good accuracy to the bag. Good footwork and transfer, solid components present. Also showed a good arm during infield drills from and extended slot. Fields the ball out in front with solid fundamentals. Right handed pitcher, simple delivery with in line direction down the mound. Worked solely with that topped at 76 mph and commanded it well. Right handed hitter with a wide base, bent knee stance and a high hands set with high back elbow. Barrel gets on plane from a level path, worked the middle of the field well. Solid feel for age with components to build on. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
