Carson Beam is a 2024 1B/RHP/UT with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Edmond, OK who attends Heritage Hall. Recorded a 7.84 second 60 yard dash time. Long and lanky frame with a slender build and plenty of room to fill. Primary first baseman with a short arm action and a solid understanding of the footwork. Showed good feet on the turns toward second base, has a quick release and developing accuracy. Secondary right-handed pitcher that throws from a three-quarters slot, fastball showed slight tail/sink when working arm side, stays straight when thrown to the glove side. Slider had a slurvy shape with limited bite and feel at present. Also worked out in the outfield, showed a passive approach, fields the ball out in front with a longer gather in to the throw. Right-handed hitter with a square and balanced stance and a high hand set. Utilizes a leg kick trigger and an all fields approach. Developing bat speed at present, has a slight hand hitch durning the load. Shows a flat bat path and present bat to ball skills, gets off his back side well. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
