2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (June 23)
Jackson Loomis is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Washington, DC who attends Jackson-Reed (formerly Woodrow Wilson). Recorded a 7.31 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and strong athletic build, fields the ball out front with good glove position and soft hands, works low behind the ball with clean actions, makes accurate throws with some developing young carry, changed his arm slot well on the move, has all the actions to continue to improve defensively and stay in the middle of the field. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a high and tight hand load, has some bat speed, got the barrel out front consistently with pull side contact, gets some jump off the barrel with more to come. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
