2023 Midwest Top Prospect Games
Vincent Ippolito is a 2025 C/1B, 3B with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Villa Park, IL who attends Willowbrook. A compact frame and build. Ran a 7.76 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who sets up with a side saddle. Gains some ground working out of the crouch and has a shorter arm action through release. He had a shorter release, getting rid of the ball quickly. Let the throws go from a compact arm stroke and lower slot. Threw 73 mph and produced a 2.00 pop time during his round of throws working out of the crouch. He's a right-handed hitter with sightly open feet, higher-set hands, and the back elbow up. He loads up and gets to it out front pretty well. He worked all over the field during his round of swings. He had some quickness to the hands and was able to impact with some carry on his swings. Creates separation well. Produced an 83 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Picked up a couple of hits, including a double in-game as well. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
