Angel Gutierrez is a 2024 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Hightower. Shorter frame with a higher waist for his size and lots room to add weight. Ran a 7.29 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, feet work through the ball with good angles. Very fast transfer and release with consistent accuracy, low slot with the ability to flick the ball across the field. A left-handed hitter, starts upright and even with his base. Toe tap and weight shift to load and stays on the back side, stays behind the ball and uses a line drive swing plane. Looks to get the hands out and pull the ball.
