Tyler Guerin is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-7 205 lb. frame from Shoreview, MN who attends Mounds View HS. Recorded a 7.12 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame and build with lots of room for projection. Primary right-handed pitcher with a long arm stroke and three-quarters arm slot. Lots of sink and run on the fastball up to 92 mph. Lots of arm side run on the fastball and gets good ground ball outs. Leg lift above the belt and lands the slider nicely. Forced early ground ball contact. Left-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and big strength and leverage. Bat speed stands out and ball really jumps when squared. Great student. Verbal commitment to Iowa.
