2023 Class of 2026 All-American Games
Tanner Drda is a 2026 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Memorial. Nice young athletic build with plenty of strength potential. Primary outfielder on defense, has a long and loose arm action, gets some carry on his throws, tends to throw uphill. Also worked out in the infield with third base actions, more practiced in the outfield at present. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a big shoulder turn and barrel wrap to start his swing, has long elements to start his swing, swings hard and has strength in his swing, creates jump when he gets extended out front, power approach. Also pitched, has a multi-part delivery with lots of check points, rotational mechanics. Fastball topped out at 84 mph and worked mostly in the low 80's, has some run and sink. Slider was a good pitch for him when he was on top of it with good power, also flashed a firm change up. Very good student.
