2022 Class of 2025 All-American Games
John Jordan is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Ocean Springs, MS who attends Ocean Springs. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary infielder, deliberate tempo to footwork on the approach, fields it out front and did so cleanly, works behind it well, long and loose arm action, shows nice carry on throws across the diamond. Also pitched, abbreviated delivery with some drop and drive lower half mechanics: long arm action through the backside working up to a high three-quarters release point with some effort out of hand. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly true in life and pitched to contact, showed occasional running life. Showed a changeup up to 73 mph with subtle life to both sides of the plate while maintaining arm speed well; curveball in upper-60s with slurve action, will continue to find a consistent release for the pitch. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and slightly open stance; active hands at start of swing, utilizes a small leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Occasionally gets to front side early with weight shift, longer swing path through the zone but shows strength in hands and present quickness through the zone. Can shorten approach moving forward for more consistent timing, best strength to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
