Alex Wagner is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Chapel Hill, NC who attends East Chapel Hill. Medium frame with good current strength and some hop to his step. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.15 seconds. RHP working from the full windup on the 3B side of the rubber and using a tight compact operation as he works to an inwardly turned balance point. Breaks hands at the letters into a medium offline path before quickly getting hand up to a low 3/4 arm angle. Really tough look for hitters with his nasty arm angle and the action on his pitches. Pronates inside and over top the FB giving it 2,200+ spin up to 84 mph with heavy sinking action. SL profiles as a dominant pitch with its 2,450+ spin rate and low-70s velocity. Dominated RHHs in game and worked fast as he competed in the zone with great presence. RHH with a lot of length in his front arm causing him to get a bit rotational to get to extension. Big shoulder turn, a bit rotational but did find the barrel with strength. A lot to look forward to with this athletic arm who is an elite performer in the classroom as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
