Brandon Morinaga is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-8 142 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac High School. Lean high waisted young build. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a late hand pull back load, tends to stay on his back side through his swing, hands drive swing with some young hand quickness and extension out front, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Good runner, 7.27 in the sixty. Charges the ball aggressively in the outfield and projects range, loose arm with projectable arm strength and makes accurate throws. Also played some infield. Took a turn on the mound, has a tall rotational delivery with a short and compact 3/4's arm action. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, did a good job of throwing his fastball for strikes and challenging hitters. Turned over some change ups and threw a soft curveball as well. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
