Owen Dorsey is a 2026 C/RHP, 1B, IF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Jefferson City, MO who attends Capital City High School. Recorded a 8.35 sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a compact build. Primary catcher with a side set up. Developing footwork through the throw and arm strength. Showed good accuracy on throws into the tag zone. Stands straight up to throw. Also threw an inning on the mound. Slow and deliberate start out of the wind-up with a leg lift up to the belt with a three- quarter arm slot and a shorter arm action. Hides the ball well through the back. Slurvy breaking ball that isn't over enough to be a curveball and not horizontal enough to be a slider. Developing ability to miss barrels. Switch-hitter with an even base and open feet, utilizes a bigger leg lift trigger. Developing feel for the barrel and contact-ability. Developing feel for connectivity from the right-side of the box.
