Landon Allen is a 2024 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Leon. Features a medium build with room to add strength. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. Primary catcher. Starts with a low, slight side saddle setup. Quick feet out of crouch with the ability to gain ground. Displayed a quick transfer. Max effort thrower. Slightly hinders accuracy at times. Recorded a 2.15 pop time. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance with an even base and high back elbow. Displayed a short, compact swing with quality bat speed. Uncoils with intent. Uses a line drive approach with the ability to lift the ball to the pullside. Has a feel for hitting with some barrel accuracy. Threw on the mound as well. Displayed simple mechanics with a high 3/4 arm slot. Repeated the delivery well. The fastball sat in the mid-70’s. Still developing control of the offering. Paired with a curveball at 67-70 mph with 11/5 action. Flashed ability to generate bite on the offering. Still developing mechanics and pitch arsenal. Good student.
