Gavin Dyson is a 2025 SS/C, 1B, MIF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Etowah. Medium frame with a sturdy build. Ran a 7.23 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball a bit. Deep gather in the stance. Funnels to mid section before transferring. Threw it 74 mph across the infield. Secondary Catcher, lower side saddle setup during drills. Receives the baseball out front. Gains ground on throw downs. Recorded a pop time of 2.14 seconds. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, simple operation working into a side step to a belt high lift. Gets deep into back leg upon stride out. Gets extended and released from a high three-quarter slot. Fastball up to 70 mph. Mixed in a breaking ball in the upper-50's. Right-Handed Hitter, open front side to start. Hands get deep into load up and stride. Shorter cut staying linear to the baseball. Looked to get the bat head out early and pull it. Good Student.
