2021 Texas Prospect Showcase
Kaleb Rook is a 2024 SS/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Second Baptist. Ran a 7.52 60-yard dash. Lean, projectable build with plenty of room to fill out. Good athleticism in the field with a strong arm. Throws have good zip to them and it's an accurate arm from multiple arm slots. Profiles best on the left side of the infield. His best tools are at the plate. Solid hit tool and swings with whippy barrel action and solid leverage. Great bat speed here and finds the barrel well. Made a lot of loud contact throughout BP with backspin. His highest exit velocity was 84 MPH. He should continue to add power as he fills out. Rook was named to the Texas Prospect Showcase Top Prospects' List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
