Dalen Shipp is a 2023 OF/1B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Vacaville, CA who attends Vanden. Medium frame with a compact build showing some strength in the lower half. Ran a 7.40 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, working into the baseball with athleticism as he gathers it to the side. Quick transfer and then releases from an uphill slot. Threw it 70 mph during drills with accuracy. Secondary First Baseman, good first step as he gathers at front. Footwork showing well as he was quick to pivot and release. Instincts showing for the position. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with weight on backside as he works into no separation or leg lift. Stays linear through the zone with a longer swing path. Pull-side approach as he looks to drive it on a line. Good Student.
