Nathan Jonas is a 2023 SS/1B, OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Algonquin, IL who attends Harry D Jacobs. Recorded a 7.04 in the 60-yard dash. The primary shortstop plays back on the ball as he cleanly fielded it out front with his glove and showcased a loose exchange with a high three-quarter slot accurately throwing the ball across the diamond at 77 mph. Right-hander hitter steps in the box with an upright and even stance and a mid-leg lift trigger as he glides to contact with a coiled hand and loose wrist while working middle of the field approach. Jonas has good barrel control as he is developing backspin on the ball. Great student.
