2023 WWBA Summer Workout Showcase (July 12)
Bryce Stelly is a 2027 3B/2B, SS, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-7 122 lb. frame from Eunice, LA who attends Eunice. Young, narrow shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill and develop moving forward. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball closer to body, works into release and throws with intent, shows ability to remain accurate on throws from multiple slots, made the charge play cleanly, young lower half actions and will continue to refine. Longer arm action on throws from the outfield, fields it out front, compact through release, short stride and can implement additional lower half, gets it out of glove quickly into a lower slot. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a double toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Longer swing path through the zone, best contact when working on a linear path. Patient approach, on time with swing, swings with intent and will continue to develop with added strength, showed comfort working to the middle of the field, longer load back at start of swing. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
