Aidan McGuire is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Jamesville, NY who attends Jamesville-Dewitt. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.28 seconds. Hits from balanced and slightly open stance with high hands and back elbow, big stride into swing, flat-planed swing with quick wrists, hip direction creates pull-side approach, projects with strength. Worked out in the infield, moves well laterally and shows athleticism, hands work out front, comes through the ball well, clocked up to 76 mph on throws across. Also pitched, works from the stretch, simple delivery with medium-length arm stroke to high 3/4 slot, fastball worked 71-76 mph with good life down in the zone, flashed a breaker with slurvy shape. Good student.
