KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Afternoon Session
Alysha Claude is a 5'3, class of 2022 SS/C/UT from Des Moines, IA who attends Des Moines East HS. Alysha is a veteran, upper class player, who shows commendable skill at more than one position. She is also has a solid offensive game that has next level potential. She ran a 3.44 20-yard dash that included a 1.20 5-yard split. A primary infielder, Alysha's first step quickness is outstanding. She positions well and plays through the fielding action with controlled momentum. She has sure and soft hands. Her 56-mph throws show off her strong arm. Her throws have plus carry and accuracy! Solid, projectable actions on the dirt! At the plate, this RHH has a narrow and slightly open stance at the ready. She appears very relaxed, keeping her hands inside the ball well, while showing a flat, quick path to contact. Sound bat to ball ability with a contact first mentality. Very commendable offensive plan and an even better understanding of her skill set. Alysha has college ready ability and should get an opportunity at the next level. Nice upside future for this talented, athletic player!
