Luke Rizzi is a 2025 3B/OF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Medford, NY who attends Longwood. Compact, medium frame with strong lower half and room to physically mature. Primary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork into the fielding process, funnels cleanly out in-front and works through the baseball with good direction towards his target. Recorded arm strength up to 69 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a crouched stance with lower hand start and hover trigger. Gap-to-gap approach with slightly lofted stroke and good feel for the barrel. Showed ability to turn the barrel on the inner-half and exhibited plenty of present bat speed. Will continue to improve with minor adjustments to his swing, mechanical refinements defensively and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
