Cullen Weller is a 2027 SS/RHP, UT with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Denham Springs, LA who attends Live Oak. Recorded a 7.16 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a medium athletic frame. Showed the athleticism in the dirt, working to the ball with quick and choppy steps with timing to his footwork. Made all of the plays and showed carry across the diamond from the hole. Also caught and displayed good actions behind the dish as well. Used a quick and clean transfer and repeated well. Recorded a best pop time of 1.97 and was consistently accurate with throws on the bag. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet. Used a very simple stroke, staying short to the ball and on a linear path. Produced barrels to all fields using quick hands. Flashed some pop to pull side. Also pitched and utilized a shorter leg lift with a quick and whippy arm. Releases from a low-3/4 slot and ran the fastball up to 79 mph. Filled the zone with great feel for his breaking ball that showed healthy shape.
