Alex Morales is a 2025 RHP/MIF with a 5-4 120 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Summer Creek. Smaller build. In the infield, shows lots of energy with twitchy footwork to the baseball, quality feel for the leather for the age. Very in tune as a whole. Short arm action typical for the spot produced carrying throws that were accurate across the diamond. Clean low slot throw on the slow roller to finish up a great round. At the plate, he sets up with wide spread base working into load stride timing mechanism. Short bat path with limited separtion and strength although should come with further maturity. He displays some quickness in the wrists with advanced feel to barrel. Impressed in game with mutiple barrels and the high motor he takes the field with. On the mound, he works with hybrid style operation with a side step to a small lift. Drives hard down the mound with athleticsim for the size. Counter rotational style with hinge into the back hip, fire it hard to get it around on time. Release comes out clean from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball holds plane well with very minimal horizontal action if any. Breaker shows varying tilt with lots off depth at times, was good enough to get reaching swings off the plate. Gamer. 7.40 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
