2023 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Benjamin Lim is a 2028 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-7 116 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Seven Lakes. Medium frame with a young and lean build. Ran a 7.52 second 60-yard dash. Pitched at the event, simple delivery and deliberate pace, high three-quarters release and gets across his body some, fastball up to 66 and hit some spots, slower breaking ball with 11-to-5 shape, developing mix. Plays some outfield and infield, plays back on the ball a bit and showed a longer arm stroke from the outfield to produce accurate throws and shorter release on the dirt, carries momentum well, up to 69 across. Right-handed hitter, clean swing with some length through the zone and signs of bat speed, not a ton of strength yet but an idea to stay through the baseball and really under control.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
