Ethan Roller is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Johnson City, TN who attends Daniel Boone. Medium, athletic build with well proportioned strength in the frame. Ran a 7.48 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, athletic footwork getting to the spot, hands work well with a clean funnel out front, good internal clock and gets rid of it quickly, lateral mobility stands out. Throws across had good carry out of the hand, got up to 82 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup delivery, long arm action to a three-quarters release point. Works directly to the plate, showed the ability to throw strikes with a two pitch mix, fastball got up to 79 mph (1897 RPM) and curveball up to 68 mph (1735 RPM). Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance, hands set beside his ear with good rhythm to them in the load. Quick hands and creates good barrel lag through the zone, showed the ability to hit the ball hard to all fields. Uphill bat path through the zone, has the natural ability to lift the baseball. Good student.
