Blayne Roberts is a 2026 RHP/C, 3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Tiffin, IA who attends Clear Creek Amana. Recorded a 7.29 sixty yard dash time. Large frame and medium build that projects well. Primary right-handed pitcher, started in the windup but worked mostly out of the stretch. Operation from the stretch is very linear with a drifting leg kick. Arm stroke is smooth with release out of a three- quarters slot. The fastball lives down in the zone with occasional running life. Slider is sharp biting off the fastball plane with late sweep. Effective and pretty solid change of pace. Flashed a singular change-up down below the zone, thrown with proper arm action. Secondary third baseman, follows throws, fair job of getting rid of the ball, short quick release with moderate carry. Right-handed hitter, starts with a medium base with flexed knees. Short swing with some strength and lift here. Young player with intriguing tools. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
