Rilyn Andrews is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Tomball Memorial. Ran a 7.71 second sixty. Primary short stop with an average build. Moves fine on the infield with lateral range allowing him to make the play in each direction. Showed the ability to change the arm slot on the throws with young arm strength making accurate throws. Starts with a side step on the mound into a belt high leg lift with a deep arm swing though the back up to a high three-quarters arm slot. The fastball sat 74-76 mph with maintained velocity in the stretch with a side step. Went to the breaking ball frequently ninth mid 60's with good feel for the age landing it with 11-5 shape. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base and open stance using knee to knee stride to get back to even. Showed young barrel skills with developing bat speed though the zone and a weight shift into contact, will continue to develop the power with added strength and maturity.
