Brandon Lumkins Jr is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 6-0 161 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Mayde Creek. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 6.98 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays behind the ball and works through it well, aggressive move through receiving and showed a quick release with some arm strength on throws to bags. Also pitches, short 10 pitch inning of work, easy delivery, creates a ton of angle by holding the front side closed, shorter arm action, up to 76 with the fastball and showed softer feel to spin. Lefthanded hitter, spread out in the base, works level through the zone with compact bat speed, hands-oriented and able to create some launch, made some solid contact to the middle and projects to some strength. Great student.
