2022 Northern California Workout Showcase (Sunday)
Teddy Tokheim is a 2025 SS/RHP, IF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Lakeside. Ran a 7.68 second sixty. Primary short stop with a taller athletic build. Does a nice job pushing his hands through the ball before funneling into his mid line. Showed average range in each direction with solid footwork as he comes through the ball. Arm strength is still developing but will get better with added strength. On the mound he starts with a belt high leg lift sitting into his back leg before taking a shorter stride down the mound. Showed some arm speed through the back up to a three-quarters arm slot with the fastball topping out at 80 mph showing arm side run and getting it to both halves of the plate. The slider showed limited depth but had flashes of good horizontal action early that will only get better as he continues to refine his arsenal. Right-hadned hitter, starts slightly open using a leg lift trigger to get back to even. The barrel shows some loft through the hitting zone with some pop when everything is on time and synced up. Will develop more consistent barrel feel as he refines the approach and counties to use the whole field. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 Northern California Workout Top Prospect List.
