2021 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 14)
Dylan Bell is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Lake Charles, LA who attends Sam Houston. Recorded a 6.68 second sixty yard dash time, showcasing impressive speed, especially for his age. Medium frame, lean and wiry build with room to fill. Primary outfielder, stays behind the ball and works through it cleanly, carrying his momentum into release. Has sound footwork at present with athletic actions, made accurate one hop throws at 78 mph. Has a solid base and will continue to improve as he grows and gets stronger. Left-handed hitter with a wide base and an even stance/tight hand set. Very quiet operation with minimal weight shift, gets overly rotational at times. Throws his hands at the ball, utilizes a toe tap trigger and shows a contact-oriented approach. Good athlete with advanced speed, has a great chance to improve moving forward.
