Jaden Saavedra is a 2026 1B/RHP with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from South Lyon, MI who attends South Lyon East. Strong athletic build. 7.62 runner in the sixty. Excellent defensive actions at first base, plenty of lower half agility and balance, active feet, makes accurate throws with good arm strength, no reason he couldn't be playing third base right now at a high level. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a low hand load, looking to lift the ball, uses his lower half well to help create bat speed, lots of moving parts to his swing to time up but can impact the ball hard when everything works together. Also pitched, compact arm action with a drifting delivery to the plate, tends to fall off to the first base side, showed better command and stuff from the stretch. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, also threw a short slider and a change up. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
