2022 Florida Top Prospect Games
Matt Altman is a 2026 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Odessa, FL who attends Undecided. Medium frame with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher with a turn step into a leg lift at the belt. Good rhythm and balance with a compact, quick arm. Fastball peaked at 83 mph with good ability to move the ball around all four quadrants. Repeats delivery and creates good deception. Power changeup in the mid to upper 70s with retained arm speed and excellent fading life. A true weapon to hitters of both handedness. Mixed in breaking ball with good shape and projection. Advanced arsenal for a high school freshman. Arm strength also plays from secondary position of the infield. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a big leg kick. Lots of pre pitch hand movement. Ball jumps off the barrel nicely with good power to the pull side. Went deep during batting practice and power played consistently. Named to the Florida TP Games TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
