Cole Holsomback is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Taylor. Recorded a 7.34 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and slender lean build. Solid footwork moving around the dirt working around the ball with clean funnel to exchange. Accurate throws from multiple arm slots on the move up to 76 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a belt-high lift working from the first base side of the rubber. Shorter arm action to a high 3/4 slot delivery sinking into the backside down the slope. Ran the fastball up to 74 mph (1850 RPM) and curveball around 63 mph (1755 RPM) from an extended release point out front. Works better when he stays over the rubber and creates downhill plane on the fastball. Left-handed hitter with an even base and balanced stance with high hands in the box. Rotational bat path sitting on the backside with intent to the pull side. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
